Insulation and Sound Deadening

Proper insulation is a key first step whether you are converting to camp or use as a day van.

Cab Headliners

We recycle original VW headliners to avoid landfill where possible. Original panels fit better and look nicer.

Carpet Lining

We only use and supply the best quality material that is specifically designed for use in vehicle interiors. It is typically made from durable and moisture-resistant materials, such as polypropylene or nylon, and is designed to withstand the wear and tear of regular use in a vehicle. Lining carpet is often used to protect the original flooring of a vehicle and to provide a more comfortable and supportive surface for passengers and cargo. The four way stretch carpet is available in a range of colours and is manufactured to stretch easily for moulding around wheel arches and door frames.

Insulation & Sound Deadening

Generally we use three types of insulation and sound deadening. When combined, they offer a comprehensive sound deadening and insulation package.

A self adhesive, foil backed sound deadening vibration damper made of a high grade butyl compound layer. Simply cut, peel and stick on the interior sheet metal of any vehicle to reduce unwanted vibrations and structural noise.
Thermo Liner 7mm sound and heat insulation material for a quieter warmer, van, camper or motorhome. Thermo Liner is a high grade foil lined nitrile closed cell foam and is ideal for use on the van sides, floor, roof etc.
Fleece insulation - a sustainable quilt manufactured from recycled plastic bottles. Most commonly a 50mm insulation which allows fitment where space is limited, such as roof voids and upper van panels. It offers a safe, sustainable and cost effective way to insulate your vehicle. 100% recycled polyester suitable for all vehicle applications. Non-irritant and requires no protective clothing for installation.

Ply Lining

Our first intention is to re-use original factory fitted panels to reduce landfill but we are also able to

offer new panels where required. The ply lining kits we supply and fit are precision designed and CNC cut using a state of the art flatbed router. We only use quality, sustainably sourced materials and can produce panels in ply, hardboard or MDF for a choice of finishes.
